I started taking AMP on Thanksgiving Day. I had not yet been diagnosed with anything formally, but knew that with my current symptoms, I definitely had GERD.
After the first week on AMP, all of my symptoms disappeared. I had no side effects from AMP and plan to continue taking it for maintenance purposes. In January, it became official that I have a hiatal hernia. My doctor asked if I was still having symptoms and was surprised when I said "no." He asked me what I had done differently, and I said that I was now taking AMP tablets. He wrote me a prescription for "as needed." I don't think I will be needed it.
